Asparagus with parmesan

Serves 4

Ingredients: 
  • About 500g asparagus
  • Olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese
Instructions: 

Trim the asparagus to remove the tough base. Place in an ovenproof dish in 1 or 2 layers. Drizzle with olive oil and add about a cup of water.

Put in a hot oven for about 20 minutes until tender (the exact timing depends on the thickness of the stems.

Grate over parmesan and return to the oven for about 5 minutes.

Serve hot.
